Getting access

Ask for access, set your password from the approval e-mail, sign in and create your organization.

ai.ml is in closed beta. You ask for access on the public site, a person on our team reviews the request, and when it is approved you receive a link to set a password. This page follows that path to your first API key.

Ask for access

  1. Open Request access on the ai.ml site.
  2. Fill in your name, your work e-mail address, your company or project, your country and what you are building. Your role, website and expected monthly spend are optional, and they help us review faster.
  3. Tick the box to accept the terms of service and confirm you have read the privacy notice.
  4. Complete the bot check if one is shown, then press Request access.

The page confirms that we have your request. It shows the same confirmation whether or not the address was already known to us. If you send the form again while your request is still waiting, the new details replace the old ones.

You can send at most ten requests an hour from one network address.

Wait for the decision

We read every request. When yours is approved, we send a message to the address you gave. Its subject says that your access is approved.

If nothing arrives, check your spam folder first. We do not send a message when a request is declined.

Set your password

  1. Open the link in the approval e-mail. It leads to the Set your password page of the console.
  2. Check that the page greets you by name and shows your address.
  3. Enter a password twice. It needs at least 8 characters, and your sign-in rules may ask for more. If they do, the page tells you which rule the password missed, and the link stays usable.
  4. Press Set password.

The link works once and expires 7 days after it was sent. A link that was used, replaced or has expired opens a page that says so. If you had already set a password, sign in. If the link expired before you used it, fill in the request form again with the same address. Your request goes back to our queue, and when we approve it you receive a new link. The approval e-mail comes from an address that does not take replies.

Sign in and create your organization

  1. Press Sign in on the confirmation page, or open the console's sign-in page.
  2. Sign in with your e-mail address and the password you chose.
  3. The console opens the first-organization steps. Give the organization a name, choose its billing country, and continue. You do not need an invite code: your approved request is what admits you.
  4. Create your first API key when the steps offer it. The secret is shown once, so copy it then.

From here, API keys explains the key's settings, Credits explains how to add funds, and the quickstart shows the first request.

Add a second factor

Your account starts with a password only. To add an authenticator app, a passkey or recovery codes, see Security. An organization can require a second factor from everyone in it.

If you lose the password

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. A reset link goes to your address.

Inviting your team

You do not ask for access again for teammates. Once your organization exists, invite them from its settings. See Organization.
